Simulator of Medical Emergency for Training - Interactive Interface Module
This scientific initiation project encompasses the conception and development of a medical emergency simulation system intended for teaching activities. It has medicine undergraduates as its target audience. Once developed, the system will be used to create a practice and improvement platform for medicine students, in a way that allows undergraduates to test their knowledge in an environment free of the pressures of a real hospital emergency or treatment. This proposal innovates in that its architecture will be developed over a knowledge base allied to an interactive simulation interface. In the current stage, both the data bank access and dynamic interface modules have been implemented. The first makes queries to the data bank server and treats the received data so that it can be utilized on the web application. The second module adapts the received data with the aim of allowing interactivity by the user. The result is a web based system that allows the generation of a dynamic interface based on the server’s data , in order to offer a great variety of situations that the user will have to act upon.
