Computer vison for classification and quality analysis of food.
The work is based on use of computer vision methods and image analysis devices for differentiation of different types of pasta with different formulations. For each type of sample, various images were taken for the statistical errors were drastically reduced. To do that were extracted image descriptors such as color, texture and others through MATLAB platform, and these data were sent to a spreadsheet in which we have applied statistical methods to classify each sample.
