We begin by recalling some facts about spacetimes and warped geometry in order to scrutinize the differences between the Schwarzschild and the Droste-Hilbert solutions of Einstein equations, through a rigorous math- ematical approach based on the idea of warped product of manifolds. It will be shown beyond any doubt that those solutions are indeed different because the topologies of the manifolds corresponding to them are differ- ent.
