The increase in penetration level of distributed generators (DG) in distribution systems resulted in the need for specialized tools to help the study and solution of technical challenges related to this new reality. This work aims to conduct studies to provide representative examples of application of relays from an open library with dynamic models developed by our research group: DG ProtectionLib. A didactic presentation can assist further studies in this area and its use by other engineers.
