Nanostructured Lipid Carriers (NLCs) are systems used as drug carriers for medicine and cosmetic purposes, capable of modulating the liberation of the actives and protecting unstable compounds. This work consisted in preparing NLCs composed of a natural butter, an animal wax and a liquid vegetable oil using high pressure homogenization method. We obtained stable NLCs with average particle size ranging between 150-200nm, with PDI lower than 0,2 and zeta potential between -25 and -40mV.
