Segundo Giorgio Agamben, a palavra Zoe cunha um dos dois termos utilizados pelos gregos para representar a palavra “vida”, e está associada à nossa condição animal, nossa vida nua. Bios seria o outro termo da dialética, representando a vida social, cultural e política. A pesquisa cênica da dança Zoe, propõe pensar a vida nua como argumento poético para a construção da cena, trazendo de volta a vida, o devir animal, enfim, Zoe, como argumento para a linguagem que excluiu, por hipótese de construção de uma vida social, cultural, Bios, nosso instinto de pertencimento à espécie humana.
According to Giorgio Agamben, the word Zoe coins one of the two terms used by the Greeks to represent the word "life" and it is associated with our animal condition, our naked life. Bios would be the word that represents social, cultural and political life. The scenic research of the dance performance Zoe proposes to think of naked life as a poetic argument for the construction of the scene, bringing back to life the animal becoming, at last, Zoe, as an argument for the language that excluded, by the hypothesis of building a social life, Bios, our instinct of belonging to the human species.
