Language: Abstracts must be submitted in English.
Word Count: The extension limit is 250 words.
Communication Formats: Available formats for participating in the SOM 2026 are:
Oral communications (15’): presented in regular oral sessions.
Posters (A0).
When submitting the abstract [in the desired format], authors are required to select two General Topics from the list:
First Topic: Must be the one with primary relevance to the work.
Second Topic: Must be a topic with secondary affinity (this option is located at the end of the form).
Deadline: The deadline for abstract submission is February 9th, 2026.
Selection: The scientific committee, depending on the topic and time availability across the program, will determine the form of presentation.
Limit per Author: Each registered author could present a maximum of one communication as presenting author.
Registration Requirement: For communications to be included in the final SOM 2026 program and Abstracts Book, the presenting author must be registered and pay the corresponding registration fee.
