The purpose of the XXII National Bioprocesses Symposium (SINAFERM), in conjunction with the XIII Enzymatic Hydrolysis of Biomass Symposium (SHEB) that focuses on the use of biomasses, are to provide the presentation and discussion of the latest advances in research carried out in universities, research institutes and companies. The events promoted interactions between science, technology, and innovation in bioprocesses area, offering different perspectives in addressing problems and describing them in terms of scientific and technological competence.
It should be noted that the 12th edition of SINAFERM was based in Uberlândia, and after 21 years, the Faculty of Chemical Engineering of the Federal University of Uberlândia had again the honor to organize and welcome the participants of this event, which traditionally has the presence of participants from Brazil and abroad.
The current edition in Uberlândia – MG, counted on 432 delegates who presented more than 500 works. Besides, 5 exhibitors and 14 sponsors participated. In addition, financial support was provided by CAPES, CNPq and FAPESP, being the congress achieved by ABEQ, Federal University of Uberlândia and Faculty of Chemical Engineering. Besides, in this edition, 6 courses were offered and there were 13 lecturers, among them, 5 international researchers, from Portugal and United States.
Preserve the memory of the conference and increase the reach of the scientific knowledge is the reason why Galoá Proceedings was created.
