Abstract

The use of alternative and cheap raw materials for ethanol production is well studied. Due to its high sugar content, molasses are potential raw materials for use in the ethanol production. In this context, the objective of this work was to evaluate the fermentation yield of sugarcane molasses in different concentrations of salts and sucrose.
