Abstract

The search for new methodologies that realize the use of biomass with potential in biotechnology has been increasing with the strategy of minimizing process costs and re-using raw material that would be discarded. The use of microalgae that have already undergone processes of treatment of sludge at the exit of anaerobic reactors of swine manure present as a potential alternative to the means of conventional cultures for fungi development due to the great presence of nutrients in their composition. The objective of this work is to estimate the potential of the production of bioherbicides using extracts produced during submerged fermentation using the fungus Trichoderma koningiopsis and microalgae biomass as substrate. In this work, preliminary tests of enzymatic quantifications were carried out together with analyzes of field applications. Among the enzymes, the peroxidase production was more expressive and the results of phytotoxicity were satisfactory for Conyza bonariensis species. Based on the results, the great potential of the use of this raw material in the production of extracts for the biocontrol of weeds is verified.
