PEROXIDASE IMMOBILIZATION ON MODIFIED AMBERLITE IRA 67 SUPPORT
Horseradish peroxidase (HRP) was immobilized on Amberlite IRA 67, weak base resin impregnated with copper ions in different concentrations (0.03 and 0.3 M) . The effect of the loading enzyme was evaluated. Also, for immobilized enzyme, thermal stability and pH stability were investigated. Immobilization efficiency decreased with a loading 5 mg HRP/g support to impregnated support with 0.3 and 0.03 M copper ions. The optimal temperature and pH of the immobilized enzyme in Amberlite impregnated with 0.3 M and 0.03 M copper ions were 30 °C and 7.0. HRP immobilized on Amberlite impregnated with 0.3 M showed to be more thermally stable.
