ETHANOL PRODUCTION FROM SUGARCANE BAGASSE, CORN COB AND CORN STRAW USING HOLOCELLULOLYTIC EXTRACT PRODUCED BY Aspergillus tubingensis AN1257

Favorite this paper

This work evaluates the production of bioethanol from sugarcane bagasse, corn cob and corn straw with the use of holocellulolytic extract produced by Aspergillus tubingensis AN1257. The saccharification and fermentation processes evaluated in this work led to the production of musts with ethanolic concentration of 17.66 g/L, 7.25 g/L and 6.35 g/L with the use of sugarcane bagasse, corn cob and corn straw, respectively. With these values it is possible to design an average production of 80, 224 and 92 liters of ethanol for each ton of corn straw, sugar cane bagasse and corn cob, respectively.
