The objective of this study was to evaluate the formation of biphasic aqueous systems (ATPS) based on protic ionic liquids – PILs and acetonitrile. The binodal curves were determined at 25 °C and atmospheric pressure. The analysis of the anionic portion through the partition coefficient, showed higher capacity of ATPS formation by ethanolammonium dihydrogenphosphate.
