About
The Genetics and Improvement Study Group at the Federal University of Viçosa (GenMelhor) was created in October 2005, through a joint initiative between professors and students from the UFV Postgraduate Program in Genetics and Improvement. Since its creation, GenMelhor has been committed to promoting courses, workshops, symposia and other events that can contribute to the dissemination of new knowledge, tools and technologies applied to genetics and breeding. In addition, GenMelhor has provided greater interaction between teachers, students and professionals from the public and private sectors, thus allowing greater exchange of information and experiences in the area of Genetics and Improvement.
