This article describes the steps and results of the development of an Android mobile application that aims to enable the refinement of coffee areas in Minas Gerais. Knowledge of land use is of extreme importance for the analysis of agricultural and environmental processes and for sustainable development and therefore one alternative researched in this work is the combined use of remote sensing with citizen science, because The use of geotechnologies in the Classification of the land use is susceptible to errors arising from the resolution of the remote sensor used, faults in the classification algorithms or the map interpreter. In this sense, the hypothesis of this work is that citizen science can assist geoprocessing teams in the field conference of coffee maps generated through geotechnologies. That is, any individual in society can contribute to the refinement of land use maps. The DemarCafé application was the first step in achieving this goal. The application has been developed, tested and approved by most users. Coffee farming plays a very important role in the economy and life of the population of Minas Gerais. Given the relevance of this culture to the mining economy, it is believed that the use of technologies to help non- mapping of areas has a good engagement both among people involved in coffee production and in the general public.
