Resumo

X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) technique has a great potential for numerous applications in soil science. We aimed to show the potential of XRF allowed with remote sensed data to produce soil spatial information by mapping the major soil chemical elements. For it, the total content of Al, Si, Ti and Fe were measured by XRF and mapped by Digital Soil Mapping (DSM) framework. A soil synthetic image (SySI) and elevation were used as covariate. It were found R2 from 0.65 to 0.81, from 0.62 to 0.78, from 0.52 to 0.63 and from 0.48 to 0.63 for Fe, Ti, Si and Al in spatial prediction, respectively. The obtained maps were in accordance with the soil class patterns of area. The XRF technique allowed with DSM and remote sensed data had potential for obtention of spatial soil information.
