Resumo

The Temporal Visual Inspection (TVI) tool has evolved significantly since its creation in 2016, establishing itself as a robust resource for analyzing satellite image time series. Its client-server architecture allows for the efficient processing of large volumes of data, featuring a responsive web interface and an optimized storage system. The tool has expanded its data sources to include Landsat mosaics provided by Terrabrasilis and Mapbiomas, Sentinel-2 images and monthly Planet mosaics, as well as multiple spectral compositions. Analytical capabilities include simultaneous visual interpretation, real-time quality control and supervision and auditing options. Performance optimisations, such as caching and parallel processing techniques, ensure processing efficiency. Multilingual support and an adaptable interface make it suitable for international use in various projects. Planned improvements include a more intuitive interface, a robust data management system and faster image loading. Future applications aim to support forest fire assessments and the identification of temporary crops through monthly data analysis.
