STUDY OF THE CORRELATION BETWEEN HAMMETT CONSTANTS AND NITROBENZENES SENSITIVITY (h50)

This methodology has been especially useful in studying the sensitivity of explosives using the specific property of h50. In this work, we seek the structure–property correlation through the constants proposed in Hammet's theory trying to verify if the experimental results of h50 observed for a family of nitrobenzenes can be related to such constants.
