Resumo

Supplier selection and order quantity decisions are fundamental elements of decisionmaking within the context of supply chain management. Although extensive research exists on how to improve these decisions individually, limited attention has been given to their interdependent nature. Specifically, order quantity decisions are influenced by the chosen supplier, and supplier selection should take into account operational requirements for fulfilling future orders. This paper proposes a novel framework that integrates multi-criteria decision-making techniques with robust optimization, allowing for a robust way to deal with the trade-offs inherent to the decision-making process. This was achieved by solving both problems simultaneously, with the aim of achieving a robust and optimal satisfaction-driven decision under decision-dependent uncertainty.
