This paper presents a multiobjective model for the Crop Rotation Problem (CRP) based on fertilization requirements and quality attributes associated with the crops that might lead to enriching soil fertility and tillage. In this research, multiobjective approaches, such as a priori and a posteriori methods of mathematical programming, were analyzed to provide the best performance according to farmer's expectations. The distinct approach for soil attributes and cover crop's features in the proposed CRP model has enhanced sustainable ideas in the agribusiness, which can lead to minimizing the environmental impact due to the establishment of proper crop rotation. The results achieved with the proposed model are also quite valuable for long-term planning in the agribusiness.
