Unmanned Surface Vehicles (VSNTs) are essential in naval operations mo-
supporting intelligence, surveillance, countermeasures, and maritime security missions. The quick
Technological evolution makes it difficult to compare heterogeneous platforms according to multiple criteria
technical and operational services. This study presents a rigorous and transparent multicriteria framework
to prioritize military VSNTs, integrating objective weighting and robust ranking. Aplica-
We use the CRITIC–5N–PROVAN methodology, which combines contrast intensity, normalization, and
Rankings based on dominance. We select relevant criteria such as speed, resis-
tence, reach, load capacity, displacement and operational versatility. Using data
audiences of leading platforms, we built and normalized the performance matrix, obtaining
objective weights with CRIT and ranking with PROVAN. Platforms with resistance and high load capacity dominate the ranking, highlighting the Seagull and the Fleet-class USV. The analysis confirms the stability of the results in different contexts.
