This work aims to develop a hybrid approach to the two-dimensional loading problem with center of mass control applied to humanitarian logistics, seeking to support the planning of supply transportation on platforms subject to operational constraints. The model combines integer programming for defining the number of pallets and generating feasible positions with a constructive heuristic for the sequential positioning of loads, prioritizing heavier pallets closer to the desired center of mass. Five supply groups were considered: water, food, clothing, medicines and hygiene materials, as well as toilet paper and diapers. The results show that the heuristic approach presents low processing time and good approximation of the ideal center of mass, especially in larger instances, where exact methods become computationally unfeasible. The proposed methodology proved to be efficient and applicable to different loading and load balancing scenarios.
