Online violence against adolescents takes multiple forms, but violence involving direct interaction with a third party — such as solicitation of sexual content, dating invitations, and video-call requests — poses risks that are distinct from accidental exposure. This study examines factors associated with this outcome among Brazilian adolescents using the Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Brazilian Adolescents (OSAEBA) dataset. The structure of the database and the profile of the sample were presented in a companion descriptor article; the present study advances to the analysis of one specific outcome. A sample of 8,436 adolescents aged 13 to 18 was analyzed. The prevalence of interaction-based online violence was 41.1%. In the multivariable logistic model, older age, female gender, more daily time online, and broader digital exposure through applications were associated with the outcome, with app exposure showing the strongest association. A robust Poisson model showed the same direction of association.
