Abstract

The selection of sustainable suppliers involves multiple economic, social and environmental criteria, which makes the decision-making process more complex, especially in contexts of limited information. In this scenario, methodologies capable of supporting more structured and reliable decisions are needed, considering the uncertainties inherent in the judgments of experts. This work presents a Decision Support System (DSS) based on the PROMETHEE II method to support the sustainable selection of suppliers. The system was structured based on criteria identified in the literature and organized into economic, social, environmental and general dimensions, allowing the treatment of quantitative and qualitative data. The DSS was applied in the selection of earthmoving service providers in a company in the construction sector. The results indicate that the tool contributes to a more structured decision, reduces dependence on strictly economic criteria and favors a more balanced evaluation aligned with sustainability.
