Abstract

With the global expansion of outsourcing, companies increasingly seek reliable partners capable of integrating into their operations, enabling them to focus on core activities and strategic objectives. In this context, outsourcing Information Technology (IT) solutions has become a viable approach for organizations aiming to improve performance and foster innovation. This study seeks to identify the most suitable supplier, considering multiple alternatives and criteria, for an organization searching for a new technology partner. To this end, the Shannon Entropy and TOPSIS methods were applied to determine the weights of predefined criteria and to rank the supplier alternatives, respectively. The results indicate that the highest-ranked supplier achieved the best balance among operational performance, implementation agility, and cost, which were identified as the most influential criteria.
