This coordinate aims to reflect on contemporary narratives and the possibilities of their understanding in the context of journalistic production, especially that which is configured by subjects in relation, that is, in the narrative action arising from the confluence between narrator, characters and audience, also thinking about the place of testimony in this process. The works presented here show a new order of appropriations and splits, especially those established around narrative hegemonies, since new guidelines and experiments in the area contribute to profound changes in the modes of production, circulation and reception in the social sphere.
The articles problematize the role of journalism in interface with other areas of knowledge, considering that the boundaries are increasingly less delimited, in addition to reflecting on the ways of reporting life stories, of oneself and the production of meanings engendered by the construction of the narrative about the "other", whether public or anonymous persons, in addition to explaining different aspects of the disputes over memories. They also problematize the notion of testimony in journalism and its intense reverberation in the most varied communicational media. They also observe the reconfiguration of narrative voices in the mediatized society, the discursive hegemonies and possible ruptures from the tensions present in the journalistic narrative. The works seek to activate concepts, conceptions, practices, languages and perspectives of journalistic production in its various temporalities.
