Public journalism in EBC's social participation committees

This work seeks to understand which concerns related to public journalism produced by EBC were in focus in the discussions of Comep and Cpadi, social participation committees of Empresa Brasil de Comunicação, between July 2025 and July 2026. Through documentary analysis of the minutes of the meetings of the Committees and texts published by the EBC Citizen Ombudsman, we identified limitations of the actions of the collegiate bodies, due to their advisory nature. In addition, the groups highlight the quality of the journalistic work developed by EBC professionals, but show the interference of the company's management in professional activities, whether by censoring the dissemination of news material, or by failing to offer materials necessary for the work activity.
