Abstract

This paper analyzes the relationship between intersectionality, resistance and mediatization in the contemporary journalistic field from the displacement of the concept of social actorization. It questions how journalists mobilize their subjectivities to tension the hegemonic regimes of production in the countryside and find loopholes to be journalists-actors and actors-journalists outside the traditional medium. To this end, we carried out an empirical observation of two exemplary situations on social networks involving journalists Andréia Sadi and Kizzy Abreu. It is observed how the use of Instagram enables the emergence of dissident narratives and counter-agencies that deconstruct traditional models of the profession. It is concluded that the recognition of the journalist as a social actor constitutes a tactic of resistance and humanization, opening gaps for the critical reconfiguration of journalistic practice.
