Abstract

This article is dedicated to the analysis of 'non-reporting' in "internet journalism": a type of production adopted in large newsrooms of the twenty-first century based on data collected on the internet and aimed at meeting the demands of Internet users. New editorials were formed in this sense, mobilizing routines, positions, jargon and knowledge and questioning premises of the historical identity of journalism, especially those related to the classic function of the reporter. In the "non-reporting" there is no obligation to conduct an interview, check with sources or search for documents. In this article, we gather notes collected in an autoethnographic process and carry out a bibliographic review with the intention of fostering reflection on new journalistic practices in contemporary times, promoting an integration between Academia and newsrooms in the discussion about the new paths of journalism in times of digitalization of society.
