Abstract

This article aims to investigate, in an exploratory and descriptive way, the principles and rules of use of Google's IAG linked to two different products of the company (Gemini for Workspace and Gemini Notebook) that are commonly used in daily journalistic life. The intention proposed here is to identify which values and knowledge are materialized in these documents that are today prescriptions for journalistic work. To carry out this proposal, we will theoretically rely on ergology as a field of study on work as a human activity (Schwartz, Durrive, 2007) and on critical studies on technologies (Vieira Pinto, 2005); Crawford, (2023). Methodologically, we use the Content Analysis proposed by Laurence Bardin (2016).
