This article analyzes the journalistic frameworks mobilized by the Brazilian press in the construction of Charlie Kirk's trajectory after his death, which occurred in September 2025. The research adopts a qualitative approach and uses Entman's (1993) framing analysis, considering the definition of the problem, diagnosis of the causes, moral evaluation and treatment recommendation. The corpus brings together five articles published by Estadão, O Globo, Folha de S.Paulo, CartaCapital and Revista Oeste. The results identify three macro-frameworks: accusatory/delegitimizing, interpretive/contextual and legitimizing/victimizing. The analysis highlights different forms of selection and hierarchization of controversial information, revealing how professional choices contribute to the construction of meanings about political actors in contexts of disinformation and polarization. Thus, the role of journalistic framing in the quality of public information and in democratic debate is discussed.
