Resumo

This paper is concerned with the Static Switched Output Feedback (SSOF) H∞ control of uncertain continuous-time linear systems under partial loss of effectiveness (PLOE) and sensor measurement faults. The conditions for the design are LMI(Linear Matrix Inequality)-based. A numerical example shows that the proposed conditions reduce the design conservatism yielding a better H∞ performance in comparison with a recent result presented in the literature. Furthermore, in some situations, the proposed conditions are feasible to design the controller while a recent condition available in the literature is infeasible. A practical implementation in an active suspension system reinforces the effectiveness of the proposed method.
