I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Linguistics, University of Campinas (Unicamp). I hold an MA and a PhD in Applied Linguistics from Unicamp. I am a member of the Language & Technology workgroup of the Brazilian National Association for Graduate Studies and Research in Languages, Literature and Linguistics – ANPOLL. My interests include digital literacies, digital inclusion, datafication, social algorithms and critical posthumanism. I am very happy to be able to co-organize this workshop with my esteemed colleague Edward King, as digital inclusion has been part of my interests for many years, even if referenced by other expressions. I am also concerned with research on digital literacies from alternative perspectives such as Actor-Network Theory, posthumanism and critical data studies.
