SCIENTIFIC ARTICLES: A TOOL FOR TEACHING ENVIROMENT AL CHEMISTRY IN TECHNICAL ENVIROMENT AL COURSE

The goal of the work was to motivate the students of technical course in learning Environmental Chemistry from articles published in scientific journals recognized by the academic community. The teacher selected several articles that were directed to groups of students and they prepared a presentation for the class explaining or performing experiments related to the content of the article. It was concluded that the work generated several debates on various contents related to Environmental Chemistry, bringing an approach with academic subjects distant from the student's daily life and broadening his scientific knowledge.
