1. General Submission Guidelines πŸ“Œ

  • πŸ“ The submission system will only allow abstract submissions from authors who are already registered and have completed payment by July 31, 2025.

  • πŸ”’ A maximum of one (1) abstract may be submitted per registration.

  • 🌎 Abstracts must be written in English.

  • ❌ Duplicate submissions of the same abstract will be rejected.

  • 🎯 Abstracts should align with the scientific themes of Prion 2025 (listed below).

2. Presentation Modalities πŸŽ€πŸ“Š

  • πŸ—£οΈ Oral Presentation: Available only for submissions with payment confirmed by June 30, 2025. Each speaker will have 10 minutes for presentation + 5 minutes for discussion.

  • πŸ“Œ Poster Presentation: Posters should be 90 cm Γ— 120 cm (W Γ— H) and will be displayed for the entire duration of the meeting.

  • πŸ” Selection Process for Oral Presentations: Oral presentations will undergo a peer review selection process. Authors will be informed of the final decision after evaluation. Abstracts not selected for oral presentation will be automatically reassigned as poster presentations.

  • πŸ“Œ Authors must indicate their preference for oral presentation during submission.

3. Abstract Formatting Rules πŸ–ŠοΈ

  • πŸ“’ Title: Concise and descriptive, in sentence case.

  • πŸ‘©β€πŸ”¬ Authorship: List all authors in order of contribution, including institutional affiliation(s). The presenting author must be clearly identified.

    • πŸ“Š Results/Discussion: Quantitative or substantial qualitative findings and interpretation.

  • 🚫 Figures and Tables: Not allowed.

  • ❌ References: Should be avoided unless absolutely necessary.

Submitted abstracts will undergo peer review by the Scientific Committee, which reserves the right to accept, reject, or suggest changes to the presentation format. Abstracts will be evaluated based on:
