Abstract

Solid state NMR spectroscopy is one important characterization tools to understand molecular dynamics of semicrystalline and glassy polymers in bulk systems at the molecular and atomic scales. Fast and anisotropic chain dynamics coupled with structural disorder exceptionally leads to unprecedented structures of several semicrystalline polymers. By applying various solid-state NMR techniques, we report a new class of structural disorder, “configurational disorder coupled with conformational flexibility (CDCF)” in polymer crystal.1 Effects of CDCF on crystallization and crystalline structure will be reported. Moreover, sustainability of novel polyolefins will be presented.
