Palavras-chave: Desenvolvimento profissional; Docência; Formação de Professores Abstract: The proposals grouped for this coordinated session aims at discussing, from different formative spaces, how the analysis of specific contexts and programs for teacher education - initial and continuous - can contribute to an understanding of professional teacher development. To do so, the communications outlined here take as a theoretical and methodological contribution the framework of Sociodiscursive Interactionism (BRONCKART 1999; 2006; 2008). The studies also dialogue with principles and concepts of the Labor Sciences (CLOT, 2006, 2010, AMIGUES, 2004), Sociology of Education (BALL, 2006, 2011) and studies on identity constructions (BAUMAN, 2005, 2014 [2001]; DUBAR, 2009). Considering the assumption that the pre-built artifacts influence the human development (BRONCKART, 2008), the pieces of research gathered for this session involve the role of the processes of formal education in its didactic and pedagogical dimensions (BRONCKART, 2008). Silva analyzes the conceptions and practices of teacher action in the context of Youth and Adult Education based on the texts of two teachers who work in the Brazil Literate Program in a town in the countryside of Paraíba. Velloso-Leitão, on the other hand, discusses how the doctoral experience contributes to the development of the professional history of teachers of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Paraíba (IFPB). Medrado investigates residents´ texts of the Pedagogical Residency Program of two Foreign Language courses (English and Spanish) of the Federal University of Paraíba in order to analyze the role of the different groups of work that are formed within the scope of the program. Finally, Cavalcante, considering the SETEC-CAPES / NOVA program, reflects on the constructs (sociopolitical and linguistic-discursive) which constitute the Program Public Note and how the professors of the Federal Institute understand and reveal knowledge built throughout the program. Palavras-chave: ISD; Agir docente; Professor-alfabetizador; EJA CONCEPTIONS AND PRACTICES OF TEENAGE AND ADULT LITERACY TEACHERS: A PECULIARY TEACHING Abstract: The teacher acting, under socio-interactionist perspective, requires an understanding of the teaching activity constitutive multidimensionality, which makes it possible to evaluate the actions of individuals as reflecting their socially constructed or/and acquired conceptions/representations. From the perspective of teaching as working, everything the teacher says and does is related to external and internal factors of his working activity. The present study focuses on the theoretical-methodological approach of Sociodiscursive Interactionism (ISD) (BRONCKART 1999, 2006, 2008) and some authors of Working Sciences (CLOT 2007, 2010; NOUROUDINE 2002; AMIGUES 2004), under the perspective that language is the medium through which one can interpret the peculiarities and dimensions of the teaching activity. Our aim is analyzing the teacher acting conceptions and practices in the context of Adult and Teenage Education (EJA) through the texts of two literacy teachers of young and adult students, who work for Literate Brazil Program, in countryside town of the State of Paraiba, Brazil. From the discourses these literacy teachers, an interpretation of the thematic content is done, observing representations and practices of the teaching work and its links to the formal worlds in interface with the knowledge that has been acquired and/or reassigned by these two teachers. The data analyzed in this paper compose the corpus of a broader PhD research in Linguistics, presented at the Federal University of Paraiba, and were generated through semi-structured interviews done with two collaborating teachers. The results demonstrate, above all, that teaching in the context of Adult and Teenage Education (EJA) has certain peculiarities, among them, the fact of the teaching being consolidated in practice, and in the daily practice of the classroom, since, most of the time, literacy teachers of adult and teenage students have no initial training to act in this specific area of scholar education. Palavras-chave: Linguística Aplicada; Interacionismo Sociodiscursivo; Formação continuada; Doutorado DOCTORATE: PROFESSOR’S CONTINUOUS (TRANS)FORMATION Abstract: The present study aims to discuss how professor’s continuous education contributes to the development of his/her professional history, supported by social building blocks, moving contexts and several characters that modify his/her actions. Conceiving the idea of Human Science proposed by Bronckart (2006), which is based on the various dimensions that compound human being, this article in the area of Applied Linguistics (APL) has the objective to identify how doctorate degree contribute to the professional history of a professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Paraiba (IFPB). Therefore, the analysis finds its theoretical and methodological support in the Sociodiscursive Interactionism (BRONCKART, 2006, 2009, 2012 [1999]), in the assumptions of the Clinic of Activity (CLOT, 2010), the concepts of human (CLOT, 2007, 2010; VYGOSTKY, 2008 [1987]) and professional development (DUBAR, 2009) and the identity (de)construction (BAUMAN, 2005, 2014 [2001]; DUBAR, 2009). Thus, in the interpretation of the data fostered by a questionnaire answered by a Business’s professor from one of the IFPB campus and linguistically analyzed via thematic content and modalizations, some topics that influence his professional history were pointed out: personal conflicts, social and economic issues, labor market’s request for a better qualification, research’s challenges and the institutional regulations. Considering all the conflicts related to that academic experience, the doctorate is recognized as an important tool for developing the workers’ power during their activity. Palavras-chave: Residência Pedagógica; Coletivos de Trabalho; Formação Docente THE PEDAGOGICAL RESIDENCE PROGRAM: REFLECTING ON THE FORMATION OF WORK COLLECTIVES Abstract: The Pedagogical Residence Program (PR) aims at contributing to pre-service teachers’ education by improving the balance between theory and practice and strengthening the relationships between the universities and Basic Education schools. At the Federal University of Paraíba, the program, in its first version (2018-2019), involves thirty residents, students of the Courses of Letters-English and Letters-Spanish of the same institution; five supervising teachers; and five preceptors, teachers of the High School of three different schools of the state education network of two cities (Bayeux and João Pessoa). Considering the universe of actions proposed by the program, at its national (Capes no. 6/2018) and institutional levels (PRG 15/2018) and the different working groups that were organized during the first months of the PR activities, it seems clear that there is, within this context, an urgent need to understand the role of the different labor collectives in order to carry out the actions proposed by the program. Thus, taking into consideration the basic assumptions of Sociodiscursive Interactionism (BRONCKART, 1999, 2006, 2008) and the Clinic of Activity (CLOT, 2007; 2010), the way different collectives were constituted is analyzed from the perspective of the residents´ representations in reflective texts and semester reports generated from the visits to the schools and interventions held in classrooms. The results signaled that the collectives are not easily perceived by residents as formative spaces for their teaching practices. In addition, the texts highlighted that the conflicts inherent to those different collectives are often seen as hindering the development of activities and not as triggers for professional development. Innovative practices in English language teaching at Federal Institutes (IFs) are the main aim of the program which has been developed within the framework of the Cooperation (Brazil/United States) articulated by the Ministry of Education and Culture, Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel and institutions consortium with Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA). Goals and research focus prioritized to understand the actions prescribed to the teachers and what were effectively accomplished by them in their institutional contexts, acquired knowledge and its practical (in) application in class. The study is based on the theoretical-methodological principles of sociodiscursive interactionism (ISD) and the theoretical contributions from Stephen Ball work (2006, 2011) to educational research, policy and practice. The qualitative text analysis method with exploratory objectives acording to Bronckart (1999, 2008), served as instrument for the interpretation of the external constructs (the architects of the current sociopolitical context) and internal constructs (thematic, discursive and enunciative) which gave rise to SETEC-CAPES/NOVA Edict. Thematic segments, voices and modalities on interviews (cf BULEA, 2010, 2014), with teachers, served as analytical categories revealing didactic knowledge apprehended into the program. Conclusions indicated that the acquired knowledge in the immersion is partially applicable according to IFs demands. Contextual differences between the two countries are crucial, that not all didactic knowledge aquired elsewhere can be transferred, without the previous diagnosis of community needs to which the political action is destined.
