In the municipality of Eirunepé according to data from Sivep_malária from 2003 to 2013, 45,667 autochthonous cases were reported, with the years 2012 and 2013 being the highest in 9,089 and 8,483 respectively. The data indicate that the disease situation is a priority for control, taking into account that the number of cases from 2010 was over 3,000 cases / year. During this period, there was a need to expand the diagnostic network, and ten (10) new microscopists were hired by Portaria 3,238 of December 2009. With the expansion, new professionals were hired, who at the time had a low level of education, Which hindered the understanding of the therapeutic schemes, generating a failure in the treatment and the non-guarantee in the cure of the disease. The objective of this study was to contribute to overcoming the therapeutic failures given to malaria patients by microscopists through a differentiated strategy. The experience was based on the observation of the work routine, the reports of the difficulties of the indigenous and rural area microscopists, where it was possible to detect the great difficulty of understanding the Practical Guide to Malaria Treatment. Considering the lack of understanding of the manuals offered by the Ministry of Health_MS, due to the low level of schooling of microscopists, it was intended to achieve an improvement in the daily practice of professionals in relation to the treatment of malaria, so that it can happen comprehensively to The professional and the patient, in a clear and effective way, with the breakdown of the transmission cycle and concomitantly a significant impact in the cure of the disease and reduction of malaria cases in the municipality. And so the treatment action has a significant effect from the use of the illustrative tables, so that the cure is guaranteed, through a correct and appropriate treatment only with strategies different from other localities or region.
