Resumo

This study, involving teachers from Federal Institutes of Education, Science, and Technology (IFs), aims to explore the socioemotional aspects of teaching work, in light of Neuroscience, considering that teaching is a complex cognitive skill and that the `teaching brain` is a dynamic system that must take into account the awareness of multiple factors, highlighting Awareness of Self as a Teacher (EE&D, 31: 940, 2020).
