Resumo

Metabolic Programming (MP) is referred to environmental factors experienced during intrauterine life that can have detrimental effects on the adulthood of the offspring. Studiesshow that rodent offspring from diabetic mothers have an increased risk for obesityand type 2 diabetes (T2D) at adult age.
