Resumo

Visual stimuli in the current trial tend to be reproduced more closely to the previous trial in delayed memory tasks. Such trial history bias was termed Serial Dependence (SD) and has been shown for a variety of visual characteristics. Most of these studies show SD in a context where participants are explicitly told to remember a stimuli feature. In interceptive actions, however, memory is acquired implicitly and could come from different sources. Here we tried to disrupt the memory kept in between trials using intervening tasks to selectively cause cognitive load.
