Alzheimer Disease (AD) is characterized primarily by the presence of amyloid-β plaques and neurofibrillary tangles, which can lead to cognitive and behavioral deficits. Resistance physical exercise (RE) has been proposed as a non-pharmacological therapy, capable to achieve beneficial effects on the central nervous system, like memory and cognitive improvement and neuroplasticity.
