Pregnant women seem to have the mild or similar illness of COVID-19 symptoms as non-pregnant women. Prematurity is suggested to be one of the most common adverse effects of the Sars-CoV-2 infection during pregnancy. The consequences of COVID-19 infection during pregnancy and the repercussions in the short and long term for mother and child’s health still need to be better understood.
