Resumo

Chemotherapy-induced neuropathic pain (CINP), with affects 50-80% of patients treated with oxaliplatin (Oxa), severely impairs quality of life. Current treatments often lack effectiveness, highlighting the need for novel approaches. Percutaneous auricular vagus nerve stimulation (paVNS) shows potential promise for analgesia, although its preventative efficacy remains to be established. A comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms underlying paVNS is crucial for the development of effective interventions for CINP.
