Dorsal Raphe Nucleus (DRN) is the main site of synthesis and release of serotonin, and it is directly involved in the regulation of behaviors. Although it is known that oxidative stress modulates the function of serotoninergic system, it remains unclear how variations of DRN redox status alters the expression of exploratory behaviors.
