Resumo

Delayed-Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS) can be the reason for training withdrawal, leading to loss of muscular strength, increased joint stiffness, swelling, and other symptoms, resulting in damage to the organisms, increasing the risk of injury. LFES is often used for recovery why favors muscle blood flow promoting metabolites washout to accelerate recovery during and after fatiguing exercises. However, limited evidence exists regarding its physiological effects and variables about reduced subjective rating of muscle soreness.
