LONG-TERM EXPOSURE TO CONVENTIONAL AND ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES CAUSES LIVER DAMAGE IN ADULT MALE AND FEMALE MICE

Electronic cigarettes (E-cig) have rapidly increased in popularity. However, the physical-chemical properties and toxicity of the generated emission remain unclear, mainly in extrapulmonary organs such as the liver. Moreover, little is known about the long-term effects of E-cig on the development of liver diseases in both males and females.
