JAK/STAT inhibitors improve osteogenesis and reduce the osteoclastogenesis in vitro

Periodontitis is an imbalance between the process of bone turnover, in response to uncontrolled immune response. The JAK/STAT signal transduction pathway modulates the production of cytokines relevant to bone resorption, and its inhibition has showed a promising effect in the clinical treatment of resorptive pathologies.
