Gestacional stress induces damage in bone parameters of Wistar rats.

Pregnancy is a period in which metabolic and physiological changes occur in the woman`s body, such as lactation, in order to favor the growth and health of the fetus. These changes, however, make the mother`s organism more susceptible to deleterious effects of stress . Considering that bone tissue is highly vascularized and active, it can be a target of stress, contributing to increased risk against women`s health.
