Resumo

The complete restoration of cutaneous tissue after burn injuries is one of the most crucial issues for regenerative medicine, as it involves a complex healing process such as hyperinflammation and can lead to delayed recovery. Additionally, another challenge is to develop therapies that promote the qualitative and quantitative transport of active principles to the injured tissue without compromising physiological and structural changes. Cetearyl olivate and sorbitan olivate are esthers derived fatty acids from olive oil, which when combined with a fatty alcohol and a sugar alcohol, become high emulsifiers with a properly combined hydrophilic-lipophilic balance, presenting biomimetic characteristics, where they form liquid crystals capable of adhering to the skin, thus facilitating the distribution of active principles. Organic propolis is a resinous substance produced by bees exclusively in the Alagoas-Brazil, having flavonoids as its main active substances, and its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant capacities are already known.
